From March 8 to 10, 2024, the second International Forum on Corneal and Ocular Surface Diseases was held in Changsha. The forum brought together more than 400 experts and scholars from around the world to share the latest research results on topics such as dry eye, corneal surgery, pterygium, keratoconus, and eye bank through more than 60 academic reports.
With the advent of the "screen reading" era, the incidence of dry eye disease is increasing year by year, and it is trending younger. "New Advances in the diagnosis and Treatment of dry eye" was inaugurated as the first thematic section of the conference. The latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye, including new technologies such as intense pulsed light combined with thermal pulsation therapy, have further promoted the precision, standardization and personalization of the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye.
